LUV2XLPR, Inc. has been retained by a national, corporate law firm to hire a tech-savvy Marketing Communications Manager to oversee all aspects of marketing for the firm and its attorneys. This position is 100% remote and candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S.

OVERVIEW: Potomac Law, a new model law firm, with 150 lawyers is seeking a highly skilled, tech-savvy, and experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all marketing aspects of the firm, ensuring strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of marketing communications efforts are executed to ensure efficiency and quality. Your role is critical in supporting the firm's growth, efficient management, collaborative culture, and relevance in the market. This position is 100% remote.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning

  • Work with Marketing Committee, individual attorneys, and practice groups to plan and execute strategic goals and create marketing plans to support their respective practice areas.


Communications & Content Creation

  • Develop editorial calendar and work with legal professionals to create compelling and informative content for various platforms, including website, blogs, thought leadership, social media, etc.
  • Ensure the website is current and up to date with news articles and staff changes as needed.
  • Ensure content is aligned with the firm's messaging and compliant with industry regulations.
  • Oversee and grow firm presence on social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with the goals of the firm.
  • Work with Graphic Designer to manage firm's online presence, including website content, social media, and digital advertising.


Business Development

  • Serve as project manager to the RFP process, including collaborating with attorney teams; drafting/editing proposals; collecting and organizing content; and reviewing to ensure critical elements are included and submitted by deadline.
  • Conduct research on specific companies and/or individuals as prospective clients.
  • Track and report proposal success rates.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and attorneys to identify, research, analyze, and draft submissions for practice highlights, awards, wins, and accomplishments (e.g. Chambers, Best Lawyers, etc.).


Brand Management

  • Maintain and enhance the firm's brand identity across all channels and materials.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, visual elements, and brand representation.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Order and maintain inventory of all branded items for the firm, for both client gifts as well as internal use.


Media Relations & Events Management

  • Manage relationships with media outlets and act as the firm's spokesperson when needed.
  • Collaborate with Partners, stakeholders, media contacts/editors and team members to promote practice highlights, awards, wins, and accomplishments.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR materials to enhance the firm's reputation.
  • Monitor media coverage and respond to inquiries in a timely and strategic manner.
  • Coordinate/manage involvement in conferences the firm/attorneys may attend, sponsor, etc.
  • Coordinate charitable efforts for the firm to increase community involvement and promote goodwill.


Budget Management

  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, agencies, and suppliers to maximize value for the firm.
  • Use performance metrics to drive improvements and ensure the achievement of operational goals.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, and/or related major.
  • Proven experience (at least five years) in a law firm marketing management role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs.
